Connect with Farrell Clan Members
The officer roles for our Longford Farrell Clan are renewed at an annual AGM in October but those elected usually sit for a period of four years, from one clan rally to the next.
In this way we keep the committee modern and vibrant, with new ideas and new energy while also offering each new team the opportunity of a four year term in which to advance the clan in their own unique way. It also allows for the smooth organising of a rally on behalf of the wider committee.
If you would like to join our Longford based committee, become a Farrell Clan Ambassador in your country, please do connect with us. We’d be delighted to hear from you !

Chieftain Charlotte O’Ferrall
I’ve just been inaugurated as the new Chieftain of the Farrell Clan. My late father Conal (Connie) asked me in 2022, after the Clan Rally, if I would take over the position. I was both surprised and honoured, and of course accepted. I grew up in Camlisk where my...

The Committee
Ambassador Programme
Remember, we are a one of the smallest counties in Ireland, located in the Hidden Heartlands of Ireland, with some of the friendliest of people you are likely to meet on your travels.
We want to connect in whatever way works best for everyone and feel this is the best way to do so. We are Heritage and Culture Caretakers rather than taskmasters.
You will find love and friendship here with or without the title of Ambassador but if you have skills you’d like to put to good use in this area.
